What is the Y Lite Laser?

The Y Lite Laser is one of the medical grade Lasers we may use within our Rejuvenation Skin Treatments. It is a gentle and effective medical grade laser that targets a variety of skin concerns without damaging the surface of the skin. The Y Lite Laser has specific wavelengths that deeply penetrate the skin to stimulate collagen, reduce inflammation, clear pigmentation all while improving the texture, tone and health of the skin.

When receiving the Y Lite Laser you may feel a warm tingling sensation. Depending on the skin concern we are treating, some clients experience a feeling of a tiny rubber band flicking the skin, particularly when treating capillaries. It is comfortable, non-invasive, no downtime required and results are seen immediately. All skin tones can be treated with our Y Lite Laser.

What is Low Level Laser Therapy? 

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a treatment used with a medical grade laser that is non-invasive and uses photon energy (light energy) at various wavelengths to stimulate cellular function. Low Level Laser Therapy can treat a variety of concerns and conditions for the skin, the body, wound healing, inflammation and pain management. We may use Low Level Laser Therapy for our Rejuvenation Skin Treatments, for Body conditions, for healing and inflammation of both the skin and body and we may also use it for some of our Facial Treatments. Our Low Level Laser is very healing and restorative.

Do you Treat ACNE?

We treat both Teenage Acne and Adult Acne for face and body with great results for both male and female. If you are suffering from acne, you will achieve calmer, stronger more confident healthy skin with treatments and a skin care plan from us. If we feel our Laser Skin Treatments will help you achieve the results you are wanting, dependent on the stage the Acne is presenting, our Y Lite Laser can target the sebaceous gland to destroy bacteria, without damaging any surrounding tissue.

We offer Facials and our facials are designed uniquely for you. We incorporate clinical skin care, potent serums and various modalities depending on how your skin is presenting on the day. Our Facials are all result driven, leaving you with refreshed healthy skin, feeling as if you have had a skin vacation.

Can you help me with a Skin Care Program?

We can certainly help you with a Skin Care Program. We will only recommend what we feel necessary for your skin concerns, and what we feel will help you achieve the results you are wanting. We will guide you along the way and offer skin checks where needed. 

What is Electrolysis?

Electrolysis is a form of Hair Removal that is permanent and we treat both female and male clients. Electrolysis is an effective form of hair removal for all skin types and hair types depending on the area you are wanting to treat. 

A small probe is inserted into the hair follicle and a small electric current is then used to destroy the hair root. You may feel a slight tingling or warmth sensation, this is the electric current you feel. You should never feel the probe being inserted into the hair follicle, if you feel this, it means the skin has been pierced and the probe has not been inserted correctly.

The amount of sessions you may need will vary dependent on the area of hair growth you are wanting to treat. Complete hair removal takes time and patience.

What type of Waxing Hair Removal do you use?

We use a safe hygienic Roller system, to avoid re-dipping and we also use a Hot wax system and there is no re-dipping with our Hot wax system. We  follow strict hygiene procedures to ensure your safety. Antiseptic wipes are used on all areas prior to waxing, to prohibit any surface bacteria entering open follicles during your waxing procedure. After your treatment, a soothing calming lotion is applied.  We treat both Female and Male clients.

Is Hygiene a priority within your practice?

For all of our Laser Skin Treatments, Dermalase Laser Lift Skin Treatments, Low Level Laser Skin and Body Treatments, Microdermabrasion Skin Treatments, Facial Skin Treatments, Electrolysis Hair Removal, Waxing Hair Removal, Body Treatments and Eyebrow design and Tinting....  

 STRICT HYGIENE Protocols are in place at all times. Both Judith and Emily DO NOT treat with Long Nails. Bacteria can embed underneath the nail causing and spreading infection. Judith and Emily adhere to strict hygienic practices and protocols at all times, ensuring your treatments with us are safe and your wellbeing is a priority. 

Where is Judith Le Brocque Dermal Therapies, Macedon Ranges Laser Therapy located?

We are located within Revive Pharmacy, 11 Dornoch Drive, Sunbury VIC 3429. Come into the Pharmacy and you will be directed through to where our consulting room is. We operate by appointment only Monday through to Friday. There is parking available in the carpark outside of the Pharmacy. There is a bus stop located a short walk from the Pharmacy.
